It’s a warm, ambery woody scent with a soft floral core, sweeter and less harsh than many oud fragrances, and it tends to appeal to people who want oud without the smoky, medicinal edge some versions have.
How Mood smells
Opening: A delicate violet accord gives the opening its soft, powdery floral lift.
Heart: Bulgarian rose and Turkish rose bring a genuine, prominent floral note to the centre alongside oud.
Drydown: Natural oud, benzoin, vanilla and amber settle into a smooth, sweet and resinous woody base.
Mood feels soft and enveloping rather than sharp or smoky, with the rose keeping the oud rounded and approachable. It has an intimate, close-to-skin quality that reads as considered and a little luxurious, without the heaviness some oud fragrances carry.
